Wave powered profiling with the WIREWALKER

Del Mar Oceanographic produces the Wirewalker, a vertically profiling instrument-platform for oceanographic research and monitoring. Propelled by ocean waves, the Wirewalker can transport a large range of sensor payloads, converting traditional one-dimensional (time-series) sensor data to two-dimensional depth-time images of the ocean interior.
