Hydrographic Survey for Bathymetry and Backscatter with Motion Stabilized Multibeam

Dr. Kruss will outline the mosaicking issues in backscatter imaging using sonar systems and show the difference in non-stabilized and fully stabilized imaging techniques using NORBIT WINGHEAD i80S system. The geo-co-location of the soundings and their spatio-temporal relation is discussed for the quality of the imaging.
