Wave Powered Profiling with the Wirewalker
The Wirewalker is a wave powered vertical profiler that can be tailored with an application specific sensor payload. The system consists of a buoy, wire rope, suspended weight, and a profiling body. Del Mar Oceanographic will be running though its ballasting procedure and simulating waves since the demo will be in a harbor.
This session is free to attend and allocated on a first come first served basis. Please visit Del Mar Oceanographic at the RS Aqua stand to register for this session.
