There are many challenges associated with ground modelling studies; as with any other sub-surface modelling study, there is a plethora of multi-disciplinary data that characterises the sub-surface, including geophysics, geology, GIS/geospatial, geotechnical. All must be incorporated to create an integrated, holistic ground model in order to reduce risk and inform.
