Partrac are recruiting a Metocean Engineer

Partrac have an exciting opportunity for a Metocean Engineer / Oceanographic Technician to join their team.

Partrac are Europe’s leading independent metocean provider for the renewables and low-carbon industries. They are known for high quality and safe metocean monitoring campaigns.

What you will be doing:
  • Mobilise, install, and maintain of a variety of oceanographic instrumentation and moorings.
  • Deploying and servicing seabed systems, metocean buoys and fixed systems (i.e. wave radar, tide gauges, met stations)
  • Adherence to project management and QHSE systems,
  • Preparation of reports and project documentation to a high standard
What you will have:
  • Educated to level 3 or above in science, engineering, electrical or mechanical installations
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical or engineering role
  • Experience with writing Risk Assessments & Method Statements
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, sensors and data loggers
  • Fluent in English
  • Clear and confident communicator

  • A Willingness to travel, predominantly UK and Europe
