Job Advert: EGS International Ltd hiring experienced Hydrographic Surveyors

Location: Bordon, Hampshire
Position: Full time, Permanent

EGS is a medium sized survey company based in Bordon, Hampshire but working globally. EGS are looking to recruit experienced Hydrographic Surveyors to join its dynamic team. If successful you will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of survey and gain experience in survey planning, mobilisation, acquisition, demobilisation, processing and reporting.

Although you will be based at the EGS offices in Bordon you could work worldwide on EGS’s own vessels, vessels from other parts of the EGS group or vessels of opportunity as the need arises.

You will need to have at least three years’ experience as a Hydrographic surveyor and, although training will be given, having a good working knowledge of QINSy, SIS, POSMv and Sonardyne USBL for acquisition and POSPac, Caris, BeamworX and GlobalMapper for processing will be an advantage.

You must live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance of the EGS office in Bordon, Hampshire, have a full UK driving licence and have the right to live and work in the UK.
